In Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, there are several factors that come into play to determine whether one Pokemon is more powerful than another. A good factor to consider is the average number of CPs obtained by two Pokemon of the same species with the same level. You may notice that these two Pokemon do not have equal power, this is due to a hidden parameter that determines the potential of each of the creatures in the game otherwise called IV (Individual Values).
In Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, it is quite possible to see the potential of a creature (IV) by unlocking the judge function. If you have not yet obtained it or you do not know how to use this function once it is activated, we will explain how it works below.
Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee how to get the Judge function and what it is for :

The assistant waits on the floor of the building near the binoculars. By showing him 30 different Pokemon, he will gladly add the judge function to your bag, a valuable tool that will allow you to better understand the hidden potential of the creatures you catch in Kanto.

To do this, open the “team” menu of the game or search your Pokemon box and choose a companion you want to inspect with the judge function by selecting “information” about the creature you are targeting.
