Perhaps you recently downloaded the new trial version of Octopath Traveler, Square-Enix’s next big JRPG cartridge to come to Nintendo Switch. When you started the demo, you must have noticed that it was limited to 3 hours of play. If you need more information about this, you will find your answers on this page. We ourselves downloaded this famous demonstration in order to do a 3 hours session.
Know that by playing the demo you can take control of one of the 8 protagonists of the game and thus live with him the very first chapter. Better yet, if you’re fast enough, you’ll be able to cross part of the Orsterra continent and recruit one or two other protagonists.Â
The demo takes into account your save, when you have reached 3 hours in your session, then you will receive a message thanking you for playing the demo and offering to save your completed session.
As specified in the demo end message, after saving, you will not be able to load this data into the demo, but you can transfer it to the full game to continue playing. However, this end saving does not mean that the demo locks, you can at any time restart a new game with another character and return for three hours of play to discover the other regions of Orsterra.
