Assassin’s Creed Odyssey offers a style of gameplay in the same spirit as Assassin’s Creed Origins, released last year at the same time. While it does not change the concept established with Origins, Ubisoft’s teams have done an excellent job of integrating even more advanced RPG mechanics into the game while offering players the opportunity to make moral choices during the adventure that will have an impact and an influence on the smooth progress of the story.
The Ancient Greece in which this new adventure is taking place offers a gigantic playground for players, just open the map to see it. You will have countless islands to walk to and from with your warship while recruiting personnel as you pass. Even if it looks like Origins in its form, AC Odyssey has nothing to be ashamed of in front of its elder! If you are a long-time fan or if you take the train, you will have a great time travelling through Ancient Greece in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Which leads us to the question of the day… How many memory sequences are there in the Animus (chapters in the game) and how long does it take to finish it ?
How many memory sequences (chapters) are there in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey ?
We can’t really talk about memory sequences of the Animus as it was the case in the previous episodes of the series, the game is simply divided into nine episodes / main chapters and an epilogue of varying length.Â
How long to finish Assassin’s Creed Odyssey ?
To finish the game in a straight line with the guided mode, you will have to play about 25 hours to see the end of the story, add 10 more hours if you are not playing in guided mode. The factor to also take into account is the difficulty chosen at the beginning of the game. We are based on our own Run which was done in normal / unguided.
Add to this game time dozens of overtime hours to finish all the very, very dense additional content of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and you will easily get to 60 / 80 hours of game time to sand it down properly. You will have to explore countless islands, recruit members for your ship, search for the best legendary equipment, climb up the mercenary rankings, track down the cult and many other things that we will let you discover.
