Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee are arriving on Nintendo Switch in November 2018. As always with Pokemon games, players will have to choose between two versions, Let’s Go Pikachu or Let’s Go Eevee.
To help you make your choice, we have listed below the differences between the two versions as well as the exclusive Pokemon specific to each of the two versions, which will allow you to know which one to choose between Let’s Go Pikachu or Let’s Go Eevee.
Pikachu or Eevee, what you need to know about the starter Pokemon of both versions :
Let’s be clear, whether you choose the Pikachu or Eevee version will not prevent you from capturing in either version a Pikachu or Eevee. On the other hand, if you choose Let’s Go Pikachu, your original Pokemon will be Pikachu and if you choose Let’s Go Eevee then the first Pokemon you will get will be Eevee.
What makes the difference between the two versions is that only the starter companion will be visible on the player’s shoulder or headgear. For example, if you capture an Eevee in Let’s Go Pikachu, it will not be able to replace the Starter Companion on the screen and vice versa, as will the customization that is only available for the Starter Pokemon.
The list of exclusive Pokemon of the Let’s Go Pikachu or Let’s Go Eevee versions :
→ If you take Let’s Go Pikachu :
You can meet and capture Arcanine, Oddish, Vileplume, Gloom, Sandshrew, Growlithe and Sandslash. This list of creatures is therefore not available in Let’s Go Eevee.
→ If you take Let’s Go Eevee :
You can meet and capture Bellsprout, Meowth, Persian, Weepinbell, Vulpix, Ninetales and Victreebell. This list of creatures is therefore not available in Let’s Go Pikachu.
Note : You can use the game’s exchange system with another player to get the missing Pokemon from each of the two versions.
