God of War offers a very great story to players based on northern mythology. Hours and hours of gameplay alongside Kratos and Atreus. Unfortunately, Santa Monica’s new title came to an abrupt end when the players were perhaps least expecting it… So many unanswered questions remained…Â
But did you know that after Kratos and Atreus finished their journey, you could access an additional sequence announcing the next chapter of the game ? Note that if you continue reading further, you will encounter small spoils, so if you have not yet seen the end of the journey of Kratos and Atreus it is advisable to consult this information later. Now that you’ve been warned, here’s what you need to do to see the secret ending of God of War on PS4.
How to see the second end of God of War on PS4 :
After the revelations about the true origins of Atreus and his mother Faye, you will go to the top of the highest peak in the world in Jotunheim where you will finally scatter the ashes of Kratos’ wife. After the scene, you will have to walk to the room where you can rotate the realms where the characters will speak and/or you will see the credits of the game scrolling.
Know that things are not really quite finished… Return to the Lake of Nine in Midgard to watch a scene where the head will tell you that things have changed following the actions of Kratos and his son and that the Ragnarok is close… Then take the passage allowing you to quickly travel to Brok and Sindri’s workshop and teleport (travel quickly) to Kratos’ house. Atreus will then speak on the way home and once you have entered, Kratos will say it is high time to rest.Â
Approach the bed and lie down to witness the true end of God of War, the one announcing the continuation of the adventures of Kratos and Atreus. You’ll see a scene of The Terrible Thor many years later and you’ll see the real credits at the end of the game. At the end of the credits, Atreus will tell his father that he had a strange dream like something premonitory. After that, all you have to do is finish all the side tasks of God of War until Santa Monica produces the next part of Kratos and his son’s story in northern mythology.
