With its multiplayer orientation, the new Wolfenstein Youngblood has enough to offer players good moments of cooperation. A solo experience is also possible, although the game is intended for two players, if you have decided to experience the adventure alone in your corner then you will be accompanied as you progress by a character who will be managed by the AI (one of the two twin sisters Blazkowicz).
Of course, where you will have the most fun is playing in cooperation with a real player, whether a friend or a stranger. It is also good to mention that if you own the Deluxe Edition of Wolfenstein Youngblood that this version has a special pass called « Buddy Pass » that allows you to share your adventure with an online friend even if they don’t own the game. Indeed, simply provide the « Buddy Pass » code to your friend connected to the online network and invite him/her into your session so that you can both enjoy the adventure offered by Wolfenstein Youngblood in cooperation.
But where you might be most interested is whether the game has a feature or mode that allows you to play with a friend or family member on the same console and the same TV on a split screen… Here’s what you need to know about it!
Is it possible to play Wolfenstein Youngblood in local cooperation (split screen) ?
Let’s admit that enjoying the Wolfenstein Youngblood adventure in local cooperation is something to be seduced by, since this new production has been designed for multiplayer. Unfortunately and at the risk of disappointing you, although it is possible to play Wolfenstein Youngblood in online cooperation, it is not possible to play in local cooperation, i. e. in the same living room, on the same console and on the same screen.Â
The game has no option to play this way. So, no local coop / split screen with Wolfenstein Youngblood, no matter what media you play on, on PS4, Xbox One, PC or even on Nintendo Switch and its very family aspect.
